Journey to Q'xtlan

Journey to Q'xtlan (2009, video) For several years I have been experimenting with a tactic I call “transfalumination,” I venture at night into the marginal geographies of the city and perform peculiar ceremonies with light, hoping to bring back images that appeal to some deep sense of the mysterious. “Journey to Q’xtlan” is a journey, an opera, a koan with and without answer that presents some of the results of this research.
